Last Blog for Class

So, for this blog, I get to choose whatever topic I want. So I am going to talk about my expectations for upcoming finals. I have 4 finals this semester; media, film, political science and english. I think I will do pretty well on the media final because it's the one I have studied the most for. There is so much material to be learned for this course, from fonts to lenses on cameras to renaissance art to html style sheets. Since this is the first semester that they teach this specific course, I am hopeful that they will reconsider what is taught in this course for future classes. Pass.
I have a film final which I am certain I will ace. You know how there is this one subject where you don't even have to study for it because you just absorb everything you are told in class? Well, film is that course for me. It is the main reason why I decided to major in it. I realized that it is the only subject that I am willing to wake up early or stay in school till late for. I take notes because it makes me look like I am doing something but I don't have to. Ace.
Political science is not my cup of tea. I absolutely loathe the class and most of the terms are complete gibberish to me. Not only did the professor make it hard for the class to keep up with him (since he speaks nonstop for a 50mins and at an incredible speed!), but there was way too much reading just to comprehend a 1/3 of what he said in lecture. I will try my bestest to study, until I fall asleep in frustration. Possible fail.
English is my in-between class. Sometimes I hate it, sometimes I love it; depending on what is being taught. This semester I enjoyed my english class. The professor made all the difference in teaching something that could've been very boring and making it entertaining. I do not mind writing an essay at home where I have time to organize my ideas, but the english final makes it difficult to write an organized well thought out essay in such a small amount of time. Pass.
Well thats that! Summer is just about a week away!!! =))

What I hear

So I have decided to do my "soundwalk" while sitting on my bed. Currently I hear my mother in the living viciously taping some boxes. The sound of the tape being pulled from its plastic is kind of lengthy, so I figure she is pulling out long pieces of tape. I could also hear her patting down the tape on the boxes. The tape sound is interrupted by the sound of my phone's chime when I receive a text. I will not check the message, yet.
My brother is in the same room as me, so I could hear his sounds more defined. He sat back on his chair and the chair creaked. The PC in my room is old, so I hear the CPU's constant moaning sound when it is on. Since my brother is currently doing homework, I could hear him typing on the keyboard along with my own hands typing on the keyboard. Now I hear the sound of my brother's nails while he scratches the back of his ear.
Outside I hear the siren of a police car which is probably about 2 blocks away.
Now the muffled sound of an airplane.
The volume of television is my parent's room has increased. I could clearly hear the Hispanic reporter, stating the news.
Meanwhile, the television in the living room is also on. Currently, Spanish commercials are being announced. (I just realized how much electricity we are using)
And my mother is presently overpowering any other sound in the house with the sound of the tape.
I just heard my stomach grumble.
My brother keeps shifting in his seat and so the chair keeps whining.
I think I heard a bus outside but the sound of the tape is a lot louder than it was when I first started doing this.
I hear my brothers feet dragging across the carpet and now he made a really strange sound on the living room.
My mother finally finished taping but I hear some scratching sounds, which sound as if she is marking the boxes with a marker.
Ok, I am done.
